I've been a jewelry designer since 1989 when I discovered Buttons at the flea market - the button Lady turned out to be the vice-president of the Button Society. Ruth and I became fast friends and she soon invited me to the meetings- at which I was the youngest member - most in their 80's and 90's.
I was fascinated with the detail of these antique buttons and the stories they told. The next year I moved back to New Orleans and discovered Beads and Buttons and joined the New Orleans Bead Society on Magazine St.
As all great collectors find out the way to collect more is to sell some. This launched my Jewelry Design career.
My work as an Interior Designer, Fashion Designer, Image Consultant, and Garden Designer provided me with extra-ordinary color and design knowledge.
