I'd be glad to give you some tips to get started.
ONE: Getting started is as easy as throwing in a
piece of fruit or two that you like into your diet
and go from there. You don't have to "shock"
your body into it if you haven't been in the habit
of eating fruits and vegetables lately (or your entire
life.) Cut up an apple and have a few slices with
whatever you are eating, and then gradually add
more fruits and vegetables to each meal.
TWO: Prepare yourself by having the right tools.
Whenever you're ready to start having a little
more variety, you'll need a few simple tools
that you probably already have in your kitchen.
If you don't have them, you're in luck because
they're not all that expensive. Even the cheaper
brands you can get at Walmart will do the job.
Here's a list:
Knives: An 8 inch chef knife and a 3 or 4 inch
paring knife. (Ceramic knives work great. They're
light weight and usually stay sharp for a long time.

Blender: You will be able to make some great
tasting juices and smoothies, and the possibilities
are endless!
Food processor: It isn't vital that you have one,
but it will sure make preparing your meals easier.
They're great for slicing, shredding, chopping, and
pureeing fruits and vegetables.
Mandoline: Handy device for slicing and shredding
vegetables quickly and easily to save time and energy.
Juicer: Great way to have some natural fruit or
vegetable beverages
Dehydrator: Dehydrators are for those who have a
little more time (and patience). You can always
dehydrate fruits and vegetables and then sack them
up for a snack later.
Don't get overwhelmed with all the "tools" you can
use and might need. Just start small and work your
way up towards the next thing.

THREE: Write down your plan. Write down what fruits,
veggies, and other raw foods you like so you can make
a shopping list. You can also make a meal plan or write
out what foods you would like to eat for which meals on
specific days. You can do that for a few days or a week
at a time to get started.

P.S. If you really want an easy "done for you" plan, I'd be
glad to show you the one I think is the best. Yuri lines out a
12 week meal plan and gives you tons of great recipes.
I highly recommend it!
