Feng Shui Bedroom
Feng Shui, pronounced fung shway, is the art of making a peaceful environment in any area that you wish for good energy to flow. All rooms in your house can benefit from using feng shui techniques, particularly the bedroom. A feng shui bedroom can help promote good health and better sleep. When you use feng shui you are using the principles of yin and yang to create an efficient chi (positive energy) stream to have a feng shui bedroom.
If you decide that you want to have a feng shui bedroom, you should remember that the bedroom is meant mainly for self-renewal, rest, and relationships. Having a feng shui bedroom can do many things for a person’s mental and physical health. Also having a feng shui bedroom will help with romantic relationships. Here are some tips to make your bedroom a feng shui bedroom.1. Clean your room! You should start by cleaning. I do not mean just picking up the dirty clothes on the floor, dusting and vacuuming. I mean going through your things and getting rid of anything that doesn’t need to be there. Get rid of clothes that do not fit, anything that is broken, anything that may be crowding or cluttering your feng shui bedroom. Also, take out the television set, computer and/or exercise equipment, these things can disrupt the flow of energy.2. Put your bed in command position! Your bed is the most important part of your bedroom and is the main focus for a feng shui bedroom. The bed frame, sheets, position of the bed and the mattress are very important to make sure the chi flows just right. You bed should never be directly facing the door. You should keep all electronic away from your bed and if at all possible, out of the room itself, this will help the chi flow smoothly in your feng shui bedroom. 3. No mirrors in your feng shui bedroom! You need to remove mirrors from your feng shui bedroom. This is because mirrors reflect the energy and send it to places other than where it should be. If you decide to keep a mirror, television or computer (which can also reflect and block energy) you should keep it in a wooden cabinet while you sleep so it will prevent this from happening and help you have a more peaceful rest in a feng shui bedroom. 4. Use colors and elements! By using the colors and the elements of a feng shui chart in your feng shui bedroom you can maximize chi flow and feel more at peace. You can find and print a chart off the Internet. here is how you use it: Standing in your feng shui bedroom doorway, the south would be the wall that is directly opposite of you, this wall of a feng shui bedroom is Illumination and Reputation, it’s element is fire and its color is red.In the right (southwest) corner of the back wall of a feng shui bedroom is the love and relationships corner, its element is Earth and its color is pink. In the left (southeast) corner of the back wall in the feng shui bedroom is the abundance and prosperity corner, its element is wood and its color is purple. On the left (East) wall is foundation and family, its element is wood and its color is green. In the right wall (west) is creativity and children, its element is metal and its color is white. In the front left corner (northwest) of a feng shui bedroom is inner knowledge, its element is Earth and its color is blue.
